3. Where Next?

EN: During Villa Welcome Club's last "Where Next?" event, we explored Leipzig through the lens of colonial history, trade, and the connections between the city and the wider world. We uncovered stories hidden in familiar places, questioned how colonial entanglements shaped the city, and reflected on how these histories continue to influence our present.

Through clues, discoveries, and conversations along the way, we looked at Leipzig from a different perspective and explored stories that are often overlooked in everyday life.

DE: Bei unserem "Where Next?" Mystery Walk haben wir Leipzig aus der Perspektive der Kolonialgeschichte, des Handels und der Verbindungen zwischen der Stadt und der Welt erkundet. Wir haben Geschichten an vertrauten Orten entdeckt, hinterfragt, wie koloniale Verflechtungen die Stadt geprägt haben, und darüber nachgedacht, wie diese Geschichte bis in unsere Gegenwart hineinwirkt.

Mit Rätseln, Entdeckungen und Gesprächen unterwegs haben wir Leipzig aus einem anderen Blickwinkel betrachtet und uns mit Geschichten beschäftigt, die im Alltag oft übersehen werden.
