Room for Reading

Last Monday, Villa Welcome Club had its first “Room for Reading” of the new season! 
We came together to celebrate the beginning of autumn with literature. And of course, our participants had more than just autumn leaves in their pockets! We shared poems in Spanish, Italian, Turkish and English, together with their translations, and talked about what the poems mean to us and what we understood or took from them.

A big thank you to everyone who brought their time, attention and love for literature and shared them with us. We hope to see you all again soon at one of our next meetings! And a special thank you to Lorenzo for moderating the session, and to Mariana and Elece for the photos!

DE: Letzten Montag hatte der Villa Welcome Club sein erstes „Room for Reading“ der neuen Saison! 
Wir haben den Herbst natürlich auf die beste Art gefeiert: mit Literatur! Unsere Teilnehmer:innen hatten dabei mehr als nur Herbstblätter in ihren Taschen. Wir haben Gedichte auf Spanisch, Italienisch, Türkisch und Englisch mit ihren Übersetzungen geteilt und anschließend darüber gesprochen, was sie für uns bedeuten und was wir aus ihnen mitnehmen.

Vielen Dank an alle, die ihre Zeit, Aufmerksamkeit und Liebe zur Literatur mit uns geteilt haben! Wir hoffen, euch bald wieder bei einem unserer nächsten Treffen zu sehen. Ein großes Dankeschön an Lorenzo für die Moderation und an Mariana und Elece für die Fotos!
